When I was younger, I was always surrounded by art, either in classes within my community, school and college, or by my mom’s boundless creativity. Life took me away from that for awhile, but I have found my way back. I paint things that interest, challenge and most importantly, move me. That tends to be pet and human portraits, but I have been known to create a still life or landscape, as well. I have recently retired from 28 years in corporate America and have decided to dedicate my time and effort into capturing the beauty around us on canvas.
